Already Addicted: What is dyslexia and wedding shoes

So yes I have already posted today but I am really loving the idea of this thing. It is very freeing to really express myself and know that yes everyone understand why there are so many errors.... Speaking of that, I think there does need to be a little explaining on what dyslexia really is. First off, no I do not read everything backwards or write it backwards. Flipping letters is just a small part of what dyslexia is. It's like if you have the flu and one of your symptoms is being weak. That is not all of the flu. Your flu is not just defined as being weak. So lets talk about these symptoms.

  • Talented in art, drama, music, sports, mechanics, story-telling, sales, business, designing, building, or engineering.
  • Seems to "Zone out" or daydream often; gets lost easily or loses track of time.
  • Difficulty sustaining attention; seems "hyper" or "daydreamer."
  • Learns best through hands-on experience, demonstrations, experimentation, observation, and visual aids.
  • Confused by letters, numbers, words, sequences, or verbal explanations.
  • Reading or writing shows repetitions, additions, transpositions, omissions, substitutions, and reversals in letters, numbers and/or words.
  • Has difficulty telling time, managing time, learning sequenced information or tasks, or being on time.
  • Can be an extra deep or light sleeper
  • Mistakes and symptoms increase dramatically with confusion, time pressure, emotional stress, or poor health.
These are just some of the "symptoms". I have most of these, so get excited!

p.s. I bought my wedding shoes this weekend! Want to see them?? I am obsessed with pink so of course they are pink flats! so excited!
